The heavens changed and astronomer Tycho Brahe was the first to notice. Join us for an exploration of his fascinating life and times, with a world premiere of a new commission by Canadian composer Alex Eddington, featuring cymbalom master Richard Moore, actor and singer (baritone) Olivier Laquerre, and direction by Tyler Seguin.

Alex Eddington’s music and text was commissioned with the support of the Ontario Arts Council

Music by Alex Eddington, Gyorgy Kurtag, and late Renaissance composers whose lives and music intersected with Prague during Tycho Brahe’s residence: Phillippe de Monte, Hans Leo Hessler, Giovanni Battista Mosto, J. Regnart, and Carolus Luython.
